Amber works Wednesdays and Fridays and is currently taking on new clients. Amber is an accredited Mental Health Social Worker who specialises in trauma-informed practice. She works with young adult and older clients and is reflective and collaborative in her approach to therapy.

Amber has been working as a social worker since 2004 within government, hospital and community organisations in the UK, Germany and Australia. She first completed her Bachelor of Science majoring in Psychology and Human Movement Studies and then went on to complete a Bachelor of Social Work in 2 years. Amber’s clinical practice approach can be described as ‘collaboratively curious’ as she gently challenges and supports clients to gain awareness, insight and motivation to address their issues. She thrives on making connections that provide clients with the space to embrace being vulnerable and curious within themselves to bring about the inner change they are seeking. Amber’s clinical practice is guided by trauma-focused CBT, ACT, Compassion Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Psycho-education, Solution Focused Therapy and Grief and Loss therapy. Amber’s reflective and supportive manner enables her clients to gain positive change and integrate helpful skills and strategies in their lives.
